York Polar Bears Announces Annual Sticks to Clubs Golf Tournament

The York Polar Bears are now in our 7th year of providing children and young adults with special needs the chance to play hockey in an environment where they can learn and play at their own pace and ability. The York Polar Bears is the only organization in the York/Lancaster area which offers this opportunity to those who would not otherwise have the chance to play hockey. Thanks to our dedicated coaches, mentors and generous supporters, these wonderful kids get the chance to be on a sports team where they learn confidence and teamwork while cultivating friendships in a supportive environment.

Our team is growing every year and thanks to your support, we can continue to provide these athletes with the ability to be on the team with no equipment cost to the parents. The monies raised from this tournament will go towards equipment costs, ice time, tournament fees and special social events for the players. Thanks to your financial support we are able to provide many opportunities for our athletes to develop relationships with each other not only on the ice, but through off the ice events as well.

We hope you’ll join us on June 19th at Heritage Hills for what we anticipate will be a great day of fun and fellowship on the golf course. For updates or to register to sponsor or play, please visit our website.
